My name is Kevin Murphy, I live at Lot 69 since
March 2013. I purchased my home after a divorce. It was by far the best living
space for the price and all I could afford. I spent 41 years working in the hi-tech
industry and for the Federal government as an Engineering Technologist. I
retired in October 2022. I am handy in wood, metal, automotive, home
appliance repair and other.
I joined the Board of Directors in 2018. I am responsible
for most of the contractors that the corporation hire. I get three quotes for
new work. I set up schedules and deal with onsite management.
I am familiar with the computer, Microsoft Office and many other software packages. I bring a useful level of
knowledge.
Things I have done and/or continue
to work on for the corporation for free as a volunteer member of the board.
- Developed and maintain the TNE database that keeps track of all the shareholder information in one place as required by corporate law of Ontario.
- The TNE contact list which allows the board to send an email to any individual by lot number or the whole park by typing shareholders in the “To” field.
- The TNE website tneweb.com and built and installed an Apache web server that hosts the site.
- Monitoring the water coming into the park and the pump load/use of water leaving the park using a remote power usage monitor on both waste pumps that can be accessed live on the web from anywhere.
I hope that the park returns to a happy and harmonious place
to live where neighbors help neighbors and everyone contributes to the
operation of the cooperative.
